The Malpaga Castle, which was once Bartolomeo Colleoni’s residence, is nestled within the Serio River Natural Park, an idyllic location that takes us back to the 15th century. The castle is considered an outstanding example of Lombard architecture.

The castle, with its frescoed halls and stunning porticos, offers a wide range of options from which to choose. Three reception rooms are available all year round; all of them are decorated with gorgeous frescoes by Marcello Fogolino and Pietro Ricchi. Besides, all of the reception rooms have painted ceilings, detailed chests and perfectly functioning fireplaces. During the summer season, the beautiful main courtyard is also available. In the evenings, a profusion of candles lights up the two covered porticos, entirely decorated with frescoes by Romanino, enhancing the magical medieval ambiance.

The castle hosts elegant civil wedding ceremonies, while, within walking distance, a small church is available for a romantic religious ceremony.
